Tega Cay is Polynesian for ‘Beautiful Peninsula’. Located just South of Charlotte NC, the city of Tega Cay is located on a peninsula in Lake Wylie. Tega Cay is known as Lake Wylie’s Recreational Community.  With about 13 miles of shoreline around Lake Wylie, the community offers many different housing options,  numerous parks and various recreational facilities.
